Ambedkar International School exists because one man decided the children of Lar should not have to leave the block to get a proper education.

Rajneesh Tiwari founded the school in 2017 on a single conviction — that quality education is not a privilege that follows money or geography, but something every child has a claim on.

He built the school from the ground up. The land, the first classrooms, the first buses, the first teachers: all of it came from his effort and his insistence. Under him the school grew quickly, acquiring the infrastructure, the transport and the staff that a real school needs rather than the ones a small school makes do with.

He was also a speaker who drew crowds. People who heard him at public events and seminars describe the same thing — a man who could make an audience believe that the ordinary constraints of a rural district were negotiable.

We lost him during the Covid-19 period. His wife, Director Pratibha Tiwari, took up the work and has carried it forward with the same seriousness, ensuring that what he built has kept growing rather than merely surviving.

He did not just build a school. He built a future for hundreds of families in Lar.

Every child who walks through the gate is the continuation of that idea.
